Community Action

The services offered by CONCORDIA LenZ are not only to be understood as assistance for newly immigrated people, but also as a project that promotes intercultural dialogue between the host society and people with migration or refugee experience. Integration cannot take place unilaterally - parts of successful and sustainable integration are both the immigrated people and the host society. Encounters between these two groups play a very important role, as dialogue reduces unfounded fears, inhibitions and prejudices and promotes togetherness.

By "community action" we mean a place of encounter where cultural diversity can be experienced and socio-cultural experience can be gained and the need for social interaction is given space. The workshops are accompanied and co-organised by us, we support the workshop leader to make sure that the transfer to a positive experience is guaranteed.

So far we have run international cooking classes, music & photography workshops, pottery and painting classes as well as dance and yo-ya classes as part of Community Actions, to name a few.
